Fun fact: Volvo had 30 hp more than the second best.. And it is tunable. And relaiable.. And it doesn't rust..
The unoins a much needed load of parts that the night shift needed to work turned up at 20 to 5 they were refused to unload no one would work after 5 pm
always biased to ford and vw - is this fool taking bribes?
to those who complained about left bias stereo audio, try setting your audio to mono or watch this video on a phone through phone speaker, you wont feel the left-right bias
The alfa is seriously hideous
Absolutely stunning! 👍❤️
Clarkson was smoking dick with that alpha Romeo choice 😂😂😂
What I found interesting about the Pacer, after looking at it closely, it actually more resembles a first generation Ford Probe (1989-1992). Two things in common were the shapes, and contours of the turn signals on both cars. Both the Probe, and the Pacer, had a lot of glass around the cabin. I remember both quite well. I was a kid in the seventies, when the pacer debuted in 1975, and they really were a hit back then, at first. I owned three 1990 Ford Probes when I was in college, military, and early working years. The general design is aerodynamic and aesthetically attractive, being different. It would be nice if Chrysler, or Dodge, reintroduced the Pacer. I could own an original AMC version, and the new one.
I’m having the 20vt fiat, just love the way it looks and sounds
Greatest British sports car of all time…
Vicki coke nose butler 😂
Real antiquarian top gear 😂
Honestly looks lile a F40 that someone left in the Sun too long.
The guy who killed Top Gear. 😡👎
In reality, that 1.8 16v Mondeo wouldn't actually do much over 28 mpg average.
The Skoda Felicia was the bargain buy of the times.
The GM Wankle for Pacer was specious hype at best, to promote it's debut. Rather, Pacer sold to about 235K buyers in it's first year, making it a smash hit success (for AMC) Not unfortunate at all.
The Vectra has ABS and rear discs. Ford wanted £350 and even then you still had DRUMS!!!
12.4 secs
That S14 kouki is overpriced unobtainium compared to everything else in this review
I'd take the 22B OVER ANY CAR ON THE PLANET
Classic car market is crazy a decent low mileage Mercedes CLK55 AMG with 350 hp can be had for £6k a fraction of what a similar aged Porsche 911 will fetch in the UK.
Tracking is out a touch
The vectra looks a lot nicer, That Mondeo is ugly.
A RR with a German engine. How disgusting, and especially since VW, BENTLEY or RR will not even work on it. For one thing it isn’t a genuine RR, and electric and mechanical parts are getting difficult to impossible to get. Even the BMW/RR Phantom will only have many parts available for up to 7 year’s after model production if available anymore. I have a friend with a Phantom with only 5,000 miles and can’t get parts to run the car. They were told no longer in production. Actually planned obsolescence directly to its final resting place, the junkyard!! In 3 year’s, BMW/RR will no longer build any cars without electric power. They have already dropped 2 of 4 models for electric. Hopefully that will force them out of business. I have owned and own 12 to date, and am adding two more next week. Gasoline of course. It takes 30 minutes with a station with fast charging unit to charge from 10-80 %, and still $40 or more dollars. Ok that’s 30 minutes and not charged. Just how long do you wait until the line is gone for your turn. People really are not particularly smart anymore.
jesus can't believe they were actually just allowed to film park house back in 1990 when here in 2023 if a phone gets seen you never get it back lol
Oh that’s ironic, using “Fanfare for the Common Man” for the reveal. Nothing common about a Rolls!
Sexy Fast Ford's are catching my eye also the Mercedes & the Ferrari etc
I live next door in Malaysia and don't be surprised to see a lot of Singaporeans always come to our country during the weekends.
No wonder why dealer satisfaction is a part of the JD Power Survey.
3:23 Can't stop laughing at that. 🤣😂
0:41 Jokes on you, Clarkson. Here in Malaysia, RON95 petrol is still 35p and Euro5 diesel is 37p. Eventhough our government no longer subsidize RON97, it still cost less than 60p.
Morning sounds like in farm
Molto bella. Potessi averne una.
It would be great to know if Mr Wilson has kept that bonny Merc. 😂
tnx man one of my fav
Funny that the Ford is by far the safest out of these three. Probably the best handling too
I'd pick the toyta over the bmw and il pick the honda over that merc
Can’t even spell, it’s easy to film a film… go away !!!
Back then buying cars from the internet is a slow and tedious process but now in 2023 its everywhere and im buying a second hand skoda superb for really cheap money!!!
Try and buy an RX7 Turbo today.
nooooo. honda prelude.
Just for fun I tried to find examples of the cars Jeremy mentioned to see what they would be worth today: BMW 750: about 20k for a good one Mazda RX7: about 30k XM break: most of them have rotted away by now, but I found a few at around 1000 pounds Rover 800: 1000 or so, again if you can find one Peugeot 605: 1000 XJ 220: There are a few for sale but they don't list the prices for these. If you want to know you can't afford them...
The rot on the XMs wasn't that bad - dodgy electrics is what killed most.
I would much rather have an old car rather than any of those sorry ass cars in the beginning. The other cars are pretty cool
Dude, the Peugeot 205 is still a great darling in the hatchback world, especially the GTi version.
❤😂
The Alfa looks like a flipped over bathtub
Tragic fall from grace. A good lesson in life - don’t let fame or fortune puff you up and lead you into sin. Pride comes before a fall.
My left ear likes this
Did Vauxhall lose their shit over this review as well? :)
I'd love a go in that Mondeo
